The Kiwanis Club of Winchendon has always been about one simple idea: when a community comes together, kids win.

Like many organizations, we’ve felt the pressure of smaller numbers carrying a big mission. But here’s the truth — we are in an incredible position to offer meaningful value to this community and surrounding towns. With just a few more hands and a little shared energy, we can take the pressure off our current members, make this fun again, and amplify the impact we have on the children and families of Winchendon.

So we’re making some changes — and we’re excited about them.

📅 New Meeting Night & Location

Starting now, we’ll meet on the First Monday of every month at 6:00 PM at:

📍 The Hub – formerly Playaway Lanes

5 Summer St Winchendon MA

🍕 Pizza and drinks will be available.
🎳 After the meeting, stick around — bowl, play cards, hang out, and connect.

We want our meetings to be productive — and genuinely enjoyable.

If you’ve been to a meeting before, we’re asking you to give us another shot.
If you’ve never attended or aren’t officially a member, now is the perfect time to jump in.

Community means togetherness. And by giving just a few hours a month, you can make a tremendous difference in the lives of local kids who truly need our support.

🌭 Volunteers Needed – Food Tent & Chili Cookoff

We’re gearing up for upcoming food tent events and beginning discussions about continuing our annual Chili Cookoff. These events are important – both for fundraising and community spirit – but they require more than just day-of help.

We’re looking for people who want to:

• Help organize and manage event logistics
• Take ownership of specific responsibilities
• Bring ideas and energy to the planning process

If you’ve ever thought, “Someone should step up and help with that,” this is your invitation.
